In 2018 I painted on commission this lively and colourful panorama of the Ribeira district of Porto, a beautiful enclave on the banks of the Douro River that offers a picturesque and lively view of this part of the city.

Painted with palette knife, brush and oil on wood, it details house by house and every colour and window we find in the Ribeira. Although the original was sold in 2018, anyone who has been there and acquires a print will feel that they return again and again to this wonderful place full of life and colour.

    All prints are manufactured and shipped by the company

    Defective or damaged
    products

    If you receive a defective or damaged print or errors in the number or quantity
    of the delivered products, or lack of quality of the delivered product, please contact
    me at miquel.cazanya@gmail.com within 30 days. We will cover the costs of the new order.

    Lost Orders Policy

    For packages lost in transit, please get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) within 30 days from the estimated delivery date. Gelato will send you a replacement order on your behalf.

    Return Policy
    Returned by Customer

    We currently don't support returns because the products you order are personalized and made specifically for each order. Should you want to submit a new order, you will be liable for the costs of the new order. 

    Returned to Sender Policy

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) so that Gelato can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order. This way, you will only pay again for the shipping of the order. 

    Wrong Address

    If you provide an address considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment
    will be returned and disposed of safely. Should you want to submit a new order with an updated address, you will
    be liable for the costs of the new order.

    Unclaimed

    If you are not able to receive your order at the address, the shipments may be available for pick up at your local post office or carrier pick up point.
    Shipments that go unclaimed may be returned to the sender.

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with us so that we can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order (you will still have to pay for the shipping costs).

    Why is it Unique?

    • The vibrancy of its colours

      The painting is an amalgamation of bright, vibrant colours that follow one after the other in a great uniform mass stretched out over a deep blue river. There are other paintings of Porto, but they are not as vivid as this one.

    • The joy it exudes

      The painting exudes optimism, positivity and, in short, joy. An image perfectly capable of brightening up any corner of the house in which it resides. A colourful and lively image that will never tire you.

    • The quality of the details

      The framing, the time of the day and the specific shades of each colour used have been very well studied. I had already painted many panoramas of cities when I ventured with this one, so I knew perfectly well how to do it.
