This painting tells us about the deception to which our mind keeps us submerged. Others often seem to us to be mere puppets playing a role that is alien to us, while we are increasingly disgusted with ourselves and have to resort to all sorts of inducements to taste a transitory satisfaction.

Meanwhile, our own shadow is gaining more and more importance. We have ended up completely believing in our own movie. And it never ends well, because it could always end better.

Features

This is a digital photomontage that serves as a sketch of what will become these large paintings from the collection "Voices from Paradise Lost". This painting will measure 91 x 127 cms (35'8 x 50 inches), and is painted in oil on wooden board.

Shipping Policy

The studio is located in the Spanish province of Navarra. For shipments to Spain we work with Correos or MRV. For shipments within the European Union we work with Correos or Federal Express. For shipments outside the European Union we work with Federal Express.

The works are sent insured and the shipping and insurance costs of the works are paid by the client and are charged at cost price.
The delivery time and shipping costs will depend on your location. To Spanish destination the delivery time will be a maximum of one week in most cases. To European destination the shipping time will be less than two weeks in most cases. For intercontinental shipments we try that the client can receive the artwork in less than 20 days.

Shipping costs are calculated by the artist. They will vary according to the size and weight of the artwork, or depending on whether you live in Spain, Europe or a continent other than Europe.

International Shipping and Customs

If the shipping destination is outside the European Union, you may have to pay customs duties and/or import taxes for the artwork to be delivered. These fees are set by the country of destination of the artwork and are charged directly by the country's customs office. Be sure to check and comply with the customs regulations and tariffs applicable in your country. This applies to destinations located in the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla.

In most cases, the customs office or the carrier will contact you if there are any fees to be paid. We will also monitor your tracking so that we can assist you with customs formalities if necessary. In case of return, customs or import charges will not be refunded.

Return Policy

The Customer will have a maximum period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery of the work to cancel the purchase. Once this period has elapsed, the return will not be possible.

The withdrawal will not be possible in those cases in which the work acquired through the Web Page had been created by the author according to the specifications of the Client or clearly personalized.

In order to exercise the right of withdrawal, the work must be in the same condition in which it was delivered. To exercise the right of return, the Customer must send an email to the address Miquel@miquelcazanya.com, indicating the desire to return the work.
The refund will not be made prior to verifying the receipt and condition of the work. The artist reserves the right not to reimburse if the returned artwork is not in the same condition as the one delivered to the Customer.

In case of cancellation, the Client will be responsible for the cost of returning the work. In case of return from the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla or other destinations with customs control, will be additionally charged to the customer the costs of customs clearance and local taxes, if any.

Return of defective artwork

In the unlikely event that your artwork arrives damaged, the artist will work with you to fix it, although you must notify the artist within fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery of the artwork, by email to mc@miquelcazanya.com.

Since most of the artworks are sent framed, in the unlikely event that the artwork arrives damaged, it will most likely be in the frame. In such a case the artist agrees to pay for a frame of the same value as the one delivered with the artwork.

If you decide to return the damaged artwork, the same return policy will apply but in this case the artist will also reimburse you for the original shipping costs.
Upon notification, the artist will provide you with instructions on how to return the artwork, at the artist's expense.

The existence of slight differences between the appreciation of the artwork online and the artwork purchased, especially regarding the colors of the artwork, will not be cause for return of the artwork. However, in such cases, the right to return the artwork is not affected.
Damage attributable to the Customer as a result of improper use or conservation of the work: exposure to very intense light, liquid substances, etc., may not be considered as defects in origin.

Reimbursement of the price of the work

In the event of exercise of the right of withdrawal, the Customer shall be entitled to a refund of the price of the work, plus ordinary shipping costs (additional costs corresponding to the selection of a shipping method other than ordinary shipping, such as express shipping, will not be refunded), provided that the returned work is in the same condition in which it was delivered.

  • Connects us with who we are

Since we are talking about deep emotions, it is necessary to access the collective unconscious and connect with what is there to show it to the world and allow others to also connect with something deep and full of meaning, if they had forgotten it. So, to create these images I start from a scene that I have in my mind and in my heart, and that because of its strength and feeling I need to bring to light, concretize and simplify in a way that reflects

  • Gives us hope, transcends us and reconciles us with what it means to be human

This collection transcends me as a person and transcends you as a viewer and takes on a global category of its own. My idea is to offer an observation of what it means to be human from an important point of hope, one that reduces our anxiety of constantly thinking about what we should do and what we should become instead of living who we are, our true reward.

  • An heirloom with a high therapeutic value

A profound message is complicated to create, but once it is finished it is integrated in our spirits and has an important therapeutic value for everyone, because it produces a great well-being and a great liberation to know the truth. This collection is made with the most honesty and rigor imaginable. For that reason, more than most works of art sold today, because of its depth and technical quality it has heirloom overtones.

  • Rafael Polonio

I have commissioned to Miquel some paintings. His exhibitions are getting better and better, are gaining in quality, in light. Whatever the discipline he proposes, although what I admire most is the realism and the life he breathes into them, without a doubt his personal touch. In my opinion he makes the difficult easy. Undoubtedly he is an ARS ARTIS to follow closely.

  • Imma Bello

We met Miquel Cazaña in 2013. We were immediately struck by the luminosity of his work. His treatment of light seems to catch the moment. On the other hand, the intense colour of his painting invades the space in which it is exhibited. Thank you Miquel for filling our house with light.

  • Rosa Maria Bachs

I admire in his work, the psychological capture of different environments and characters, the perspective of the colour, the preciousness of the detail, the light and the freshness of the brushstroke.
