As on so many other occasions throughout my career, this work aims to show the joy of living and being in the world.

This joie de vivre is reflected in this case through a street in the city of Fez, Morocco, a country as marvellous as it is welcoming, of incalculable beauty. And just as my gratitude for my trips to Morocco remains intact, in the works dedicated to the country, and in this one in particular, there is a glimpse of much of this happiness that resides in the memory.

As is almost always the case with characters, the composition is home-grown to highlight what I have in mind, bringing together the elements that will make the painting unique in its beauty and narrative.

    Return Policy

    All prints are manufactured and shipped by the company
    Gelato.

    Defective or damaged
    products

    If you receive a defective or damaged print or errors in the number or quantity
    of the delivered products, or lack of quality of the delivered product, please contact
    me at miquel.cazanya@gmail.com within 30 days. We will cover the costs of the new order.

    Lost Orders Policy

    For packages lost in transit, please get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) within 30 days from the estimated delivery date. Gelato will send you a replacement order on your behalf.

    Return Policy
    Returned by Customer

    We currently don't support returns because the products you order are personalized and made specifically for each order. Should you want to submit a new order, you will be liable for the costs of the new order. 

    Returned to Sender Policy

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) so that Gelato can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order. This way, you will only pay again for the shipping of the order. 

    Wrong Address

    If you provide an address considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment
    will be returned and disposed of safely. Should you want to submit a new order with an updated address, you will
    be liable for the costs of the new order.

    Unclaimed

    If you are not able to receive your order at the address, the shipments may be available for pick up at your local post office or carrier pick up point.
    Shipments that go unclaimed may be returned to the sender.

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with us so that we can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order (you will still have to pay for the shipping costs).

    Why is it Unique?

    • Unique and personal composition

      As I come from the world of illustration, I love to look for my own ways of representing things, making a personal composition and a specific selection of the elements that appear in the painting.

    • The atmosphere

      There are millions of paintings about Morocco, but very few of them have such a warm, interesting and reliable atmosphere as this one. You can smell the scent of spices, the wool of the carpets or tea.

    • The naturalness

      As I have already done many paintings with characters, I was very comfortable with this one by the time I did it. That makes the scene seem believable and natural. The characters are also natural, really relaxed and in their environment.
