There are places that ooze art from every pore. The city of Prague is one such place. Among the countless corners of the city that captivated me is one of the gates leading to the Old Town, the Powder Tower, built in the 15th century in the wonderful Gothic style that is so characteristic of the city.

As if the place were not impressive enough, here we see it depicted at night, in rainy weather and with only one vehicle, a vintage car, which is completely in keeping with the rest of the scene. The Gunpowder Tower is in a prominent position, from which it seems to captain all that is happening in the scene.

Executed with palette knife and oil on wood, this work was made and sold in 2021, but can now be yours as a print. An evocative image, an excellent representation of one of the three most beautiful cities in Europe.

    All prints are manufactured and shipped by the company

    Defective or damaged
    products

    If you receive a defective or damaged print or errors in the number or quantity
    of the delivered products, or lack of quality of the delivered product, please contact
    me at miquel.cazanya@gmail.com within 30 days. We will cover the costs of the new order.

    Lost Orders Policy

    For packages lost in transit, please get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) within 30 days from the estimated delivery date. Gelato will send you a replacement order on your behalf.

    Return Policy
    Returned by Customer

    We currently don't support returns because the products you order are personalized and made specifically for each order. Should you want to submit a new order, you will be liable for the costs of the new order. 

    Returned to Sender Policy

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with me (miquel.cazanya@gmail.com) so that Gelato can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order. This way, you will only pay again for the shipping of the order. 

    Wrong Address

    If you provide an address considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment
    will be returned and disposed of safely. Should you want to submit a new order with an updated address, you will
    be liable for the costs of the new order.

    Unclaimed

    If you are not able to receive your order at the address, the shipments may be available for pick up at your local post office or carrier pick up point.
    Shipments that go unclaimed may be returned to the sender.

    For these cases, please place a new order and get in touch with us so that we can report the problem and arrange for the product price to be refunded for the new order (you will still have to pay for the shipping costs).

    Why is it Unique?

    • The uniqueness

      The rainy day depicted with a palette knife, the sinuous and faint lights of the street lamps, the imposing framing with the blurred edges... It is an unrepeatable work even for me.

    • Authenticity

      There are thousands of works about Prague, but you can count on your hands those in which you feel what the city really conveys when you walk through it. The magic of travelling through time in Prague is in this work and in very few others, if any other.

    • Evocation

      As if it were a film noir scene, the lonely street depicted in ochre, tan and black seduces our imagination again and again and takes us to inexplicable corners where anything is possible.
