This spectacular night view of the Eiffel Tower from the restaurant Le Recrutement is one of the most popular recent works.

Paris is for me a magical city of which I have great memories from my first trips. Especially at night, although the first time I went with my parents I remember that I was impressed by its particular and authentic aura, and the majesty of its avenues and monuments. It is a beautiful city full of inspiring corners.

Van Gogh's painting "Café de Paris" was also an important reference point for this work.

    • Its attractive colours

Paris is usually painted in the daytime and in the greyish or bluish tones of rainy days. Here, in spite of being at night, we are in front of a wide range of toasted tones that make us feel in a very cosy space.

    • The authenticity of the place

In many paintings of Paris we see an image of this city as it could be of other cities if it were not for the Eiffel Tower. The Parisian atmosphere of the restaurant and the street is perfectly defined here.

    • The work of Light

Unlike most paintings of Paris, we see a conscientious work with light in every corner of the painting. He tones down the light when it should be soft, and enhances it on other occasions, but always with decision and skill.

    • Rafael Polonio

I have commissioned to Miquel some paintings. His exhibitions are getting better and better, are gaining in quality, in light. Whatever the discipline he proposes, although what I admire most is the realism and the life he breathes into them, without a doubt his personal touch. In my opinion he makes the difficult easy. Undoubtedly he is an ARS ARTIS to follow closely.

    • Imma Bello

We met Miquel Cazaña in 2013. We were immediately struck by the luminosity of his work. His treatment of light seems to catch the moment. On the other hand, the intense colour of his painting invades the space in which it is exhibited. Thank you Miquel for filling our house with light.

    • Rosa Maria Bachs

I admire in his work, the psychological capture of different environments and characters, the perspective of the colour, the preciousness of the detail, the light and the freshness of the brushstroke.
